We own, show and breed Havanese to the AKC standard. We also run dogs in agility. Our dogs are mostly owner-handled in AKC and Canadian Kennel Club shows.

All of our Havanese dogs and Havanese puppies are AKC Registered from AKC Champion parents We have been raising and showing Havanese since 1995. The top producing champion Havanese breeder in the US, with over 55 bred by AKC Champions and a 2006 Westminster Award of Merit Winner . The main focus of Prairiwind Havanese breeding progam is to raise the healthiest most gorgeous Havanese show or pet puppies available anywhere.

We are show and hobby breeders, breeding for Excellence and accepting nothing short of it. We aggressively health test ALL of our dog and they live with us 24/7, as valued family members. We have put All breed Best In Shows on three different dogs, all entirely owner/handled. We are NOT a kennel and are breeding for Quality and NOT Quantity~
