Lizard Food
There are many different types of lizards available as pets, from insectivorous lizards, carnivorous lizards, and herbivorous lizards, and each type of lizards needs to be fed a certain type of lizard food.
Lizard Diet
Certain lizards, like baby Bearded Dragons are omnivorous and will eat plants and inset or meat lizard food items. Juvenile Bearded Dragons should be fed about 50 percent meat and 50 percent plant lizard food, but adults should be fed 70 percent vegetarian lizard food and 30 percent plant lizard food about 1-2 times a week. Offering too many insects as lizard food can cause obesity and lead to many different health problems.
