Hamster Cages
Buying your hamster a new home is the biggest expense in owning a hamster, but hamster cages are quite important. Hamster cages come in many varieties. Take your time to look at all the options. Hamster cages should not be any smaller than 20 inches by 14 inches. Remember, your hamster will be spending most of its time in the hamster cages. If the hamster cages are too small, you’ll have an unhappy hamster.
Hamster cages are usually made of wire with metal or plastic litter pans at the bottom. Hamster Cages are usually between one to three feet tall.
